Eevee Plushie by Renegar-Kitsune Eevee Plushie by Renegar-Kitsune
My latest sewing project, a super cute Eevee :)
I wanted to try out a new pattern for a standing quadruped and am very happy with the outcome. This is my first plushie out of minky, too. I'm very content with the fabric. It's super soft and easy to work with :)
The eyes and nose are out of sculpey and handpainted~
The Eevee is, without ears, 22cm high and super cuddly :)

So cute... I really like how you put your own spin on the design with those eyes.

May I also ask where you buy the minky? What country you live? I may have relatives there, and I might have them to buy some.

Oh, I live in Germany, but they don't sell minky here :(
I have to import it from the US which is pretty expensive...

Do you mind if I ask for the pattern of the body? I'm working on a shiby Vulpix, and I want the body to look like this... ;v; This is so beautiful.

Or if you don't want that... Could I make my own pattern similar to the body pattern of this?
I need your permission.. I hope you reply.

Too cute. The proportions are amazing and hits all the right "AWWW! nerves. :D The only thing that sticks out to me (no pun intended) is the back left foot. It feels just the tiniest bit off. Other than that, it's top notch! (Isn't minky wonderful to work with? I have a field day whenever I can afford it! *u* )
I also love how you photograph your plushies with an appealing but not distracting fabric background. It really helps them stand out.

Also, how do your sculpey features on your plushies wear over the long run? Any cracking on bigger things like the eyes? I want to try something similar, but I'm afraid of them breaking too soon.

Super cute :) I wish I could touch him, he looks so soft.
If I might ask, how do you attach the eyes and nose? Since you sculpted them I mean

Actually I don't have a trick.... They are empty. No wire, stuffing or whatever in it, just fabric.

They are very different! I like the look of the double sided minky better, but smooth minky is so easy to work with and has more colors, too~

Yeah, definitely more colors! Do you have a vertain way of working with it? I heard from some people that it's 'slippy' and hard to work with haha :)I really like both kinds of minky, but I think they're good for things in different ways haha ;)

Btw, I'm cuddling Raichu now ;) He's good company haha! I think I'm going to make a jolteon during the summer! I'm getting a brother sewing and embroidery machine soon and I'll be somewhere whereI can actually buy minky! It's very hard to find in Ireland, and shipping is always too pricey! I think I found somewhere on ebay thats good though ;) Would you like a link?

Oh, actually I think minky is one of the most easy fabrics I ever worked with o_o''
Maybe I'm just hardcore, because I'm used to very troublesome fabric? Just secure the fabric really good with pins.

Haha, the Raichu is really a good cuddle buddy. My Raichu is my favorite plush, who sleeps beside me and I cuddle when I'm sad :)
Oh, a mashine from brother. My envy, take all of it! My 'dream mashine' is a brother too, but costs ~700€ :/
For minky I found this store on Etsy, which has a good selection and doesn't want too much for shipping [link]
(you can get some really good faux fur on Etsy too ;) )

This stuff is pretty nice! ;) They have lots of colors and good shipping ;)The whole shop has lots of fabric, you should take a look!

My sister (and everyone else in and who visited the house today lol) love the raichu, they all want him haha He's the best thing ever!

The machine I'm getting isn't too expensive, but it's pretty nice ;) I like it! Hmm, maybe you should start a fund for your dream sewing machine? Maybe by selling a new pattern or something, idk, but that seems to work really welll normally!

Oh, one more thing hah, I was wondering if I have any trouble with the jolteon plush can I contact you for help? Thanks xD

Haha, fox with big ears always remind me of Akuri xD
I was thinking of making her just for fun, since she has a cute designe~
But maybe I would part with her, when the offered price is good ;) (of course I would only sell her to you, though xD )

Or I could just make you TONS of pics of any/all of your charas X3
Whichever you'd like when you'd want to :3
